TERMS OF SERVICE
Clear expectations.
Good work.
These terms describe how Acre&Byte projects are scoped, paid for, reviewed and supported. A project-specific written proposal may add to or replace parts of these terms.

1. Scope and proposal
Work begins after the scope, price, deliverables and expected timeline are confirmed in writing. Requests outside the agreed scope require a separate quote.
2. Business Website
One custom page with up to six sections, English and Arabic versions, responsive design, WhatsApp contact, first-year hosting, one year of standard domain registration and one revision round. The $99 founding client offer is limited to five projects. The regular price is $149.
3. Signature Website
Starting at $349: up to five custom pages, English and Arabic versions, an editable catalogue, up to 20 initial entries, guided handover, first-year hosting, one year of standard domain registration and two revision rounds.
4. Custom projects
Payments, bookings, customer accounts, inventory, advanced integrations and specialised functions are quoted separately.
5. Content and translations
The client supplies or approves final information, text, translations, images, logos, catalogue content and legal notices, and confirms these may legally be used. Delivery timing begins after all required content is received.
6. Payments and cancellation
- The $99 founding offer is paid in full before work begins.
- Regular Business and Signature projects require 50% before work begins and 50% before publication or handover.
- Custom project payments are confirmed in the proposal.
The initial payment becomes non-refundable once work begins. Domain and third-party costs are non-refundable. If Acre&Byte ends a project, payment covering undelivered work will be refunded.
7. Timelines
Business Websites are usually delivered within seven working days and Signature Websites within fourteen, after content and initial payment are received. Delays, external services or new requests may change the date.
8. Revisions and approval
A revision round is one consolidated list of adjustments after reviewing a complete proposal. Business includes one round; Signature includes two. New sections, functions or direction are quoted separately. Publication or final approval through WhatsApp confirms acceptance.
9. Catalogue handover
Signature clients receive guidance for future catalogue updates. Acre&Byte is not responsible for errors introduced by later client edits. Post-handover changes by Acre&Byte are quoted separately.
10. Domain and hosting
One year of standard domain registration and first-year hosting are included. Premium domains or transfers may cost extra. Renewal fees after the first year belong to the client. Continued free hosting may be available within provider limits. Any paid upgrade is approved beforehand.
11. Technical warranty
Acre&Byte corrects defects caused by its delivered work for 30 days after publication at no charge. This excludes new requests, content changes, client edits, third-party changes and expired services.
12. Ownership and portfolio
After full payment, the client receives rights to custom work created for the project, excluding licensed third-party materials. Acre&Byte may present completed founding client projects in its portfolio; any other portfolio arrangement is stated in the proposal.
13. Provider and governing law
Acre&Byte is an independent web design and development service based in Lebanon. These terms and each project are governed by Lebanese law unless the proposal states otherwise.
14. Contact
Questions can be sent directly through WhatsApp.
